How the API works
The Visma.net ERP Journal Transaction Service API exposes the functionality needed to create journal vouchers that automatically transform to journal transactions. It means that Visma.net ERP contains all accounting, and you can use the API to read accounting data from other integrated systems. There is also functionality to read the journal transactions.
When creating journal vouchers with this API, it also updates tables in Visma.net ERP. It means that all internal and external reporting will work without any changes. This API supports important features such as branches, currency, accounts, sub accounts, and VAT.
The API works side-by-side with the existing Visma.net ERP API and new APIs for other Visma.net ERP services. We highly recommend you use this service for accounting-related tasks.
The API uses OAuth 2.0 authentication through Visma Connect.
